Overview

Island Peak Climbing is one of the major attraction in the Everest region. Island Peak also referred as Imja Tse gleamingly stands at an altitude of 6189 m above sea level on the Everest Circuit. You will be overwhelmingly amused at the very first glance - thanks to the highly glaciated west face that rises from Lhotse. Moreover, the spirited picturesque of glaciers, icefall and the snowcapped mountains comes as a delight for every eyewitness.

The trip starts with a morning flight to Lukla curling way down to Phakding as a warm-up for the upcoming journey.  Next, we take an ascent to Namche popularly known as the - Gateway of Everest as a break to acclimatize with climate.

Next day, the journey continues to stretch to Tengboche, a home to the largest monastery of Everest region from where our real adventure actually begins. We climb to Pheriche followed by Lobuche with the spectacular views of Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumari, and Mahalangur along with an awe-inspiring view of Khumbu region - giving a full display of path to Gorekshep which ultimately directs us to Kalapatthar and to the Everest base camp. The fantastic panorama of surrounding eight-thousanders such being Lhotse, Makalu, Ama Dablam and the up-close sight of Mount Everest makes you smile from its content.

Taking a detour from Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp - we reach Lobuche, which eventually leads to Kongla La Pass to witness an exquisite sight of Island Peak. Here we take some time to applaud our hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the journey & recall the most amazing days to boost ourselves as the stakes are getting higher as we march forward to climb -Island Peak.

Carefully climb steep trail from Chukkung across the moraines and glacier of Imja and Lhotse following ridgeline and glacier crevices - following the instructions from our team of experts as you go up to Island Peak to experience - how it feels to stand above 6000 m enjoying quite a view of a natural amphitheater. Enjoy the surrounding view of the mountains, glaciers, lakes, rivers and the landscape while upon return follow directions from our expertise continuing the same route to Pangboche, Namche, Lukla and finally - we reach Kathmandu.

The Island Peak climb has been carefully designed by our professionals taking care of proper and gradual acclimatization at appropriate intervals. GHH Team intends to make your journey as memorable as possible keeping your safety first satisfying all your travel needs.
