Overview

Everest Three Pass with Island Peak climbing is a perfect blend of serenity and excitement. This trek leaps to the highest three passes of the world - Kongma La Pass (5535 m), Cho La Pass (5400 m), and Renjo La Pass (5300 m) with an enthusiasm of a climb to the stunning Island Peak (6189 m) surrounded by Lhotse and Ama Dablam.

Everest Three Pass with climbing Island Peak expedition begins with a rendezvous at beautiful aesthetically enriched Kathmandu sightseeing the world heritage sites and a prayer at beautiful gompas of the Kathmandu valley. The actual trek starts with a flight to Lukla and curling down to Phakding across the banks of Dudh Koshi river and crossing through Hillary Suspension bridge.

Our trail passes by the beautiful emerald pine and rhododendron forest keeping us a company for a while to lead our way to Namche - the gateway of Everest, from where we are officially at the Sagarmatha National Park. Taking a permit from the authority, we reach the beautiful suburb of Namche populated by welcoming and kind-hearted people which call for a day to stopover to enjoy the hospitability of people, learn more about mountaineering from their stories and also acclimatize with the climate.

From Namche, we leave the conventional route wandering and move forward to Thame - an oldest Sherpa village, and also the homeland of Tenzing Sherpa Norgay. From Thame, we move towards Lumde - a well-known place for its chilly cold weather among many trekkers. Finally, we cross our first high pass - Renjo La (5300 m) with the breathtaking views of MakaluLhotseCho Oyu & continueour trek with an exploration of the pristine Gokyo lakes.

Continuing our journey from Gokyo, we head towards Thaknak extending to the second high pass -Cho La Pass with an outstanding view of the Cholatse peak. The trails further are rocky, weather with windy and freezing cold (though the amazing view of Pumori and Nuptse keeps the cold at bay) leading to ultimate destination the - Everest Base Camp - gleaming with the beautiful sunrise which keeps most of the nature lovers speechless.

Off you go climb down to Kala Patthar to see the darkest rock ever accompanying the white shinysnow-capped mountains giving a 360 degree close cut view of Mount EverestAma Dablam,ThamserkuMera Peak, and often is an excellent time to take some pretty pictures. Finally, we move ahead to the last and highest pass of the Everest region - Kongma La Pass, giving you a picturesque view of Imja Lake and finally scaling the Island Peak

Everest Three Pass and Island Peak Climbing Trek is an ultimate battle between the daring trekkers and the mountain to confront who wins -  trekkers stamina and endurance, or the mountain.

Here at Ganesh Himal Hiking Team, we hope to quench the wanderlust of trekkers to understand the mountain and enjoy the beauty that it offers with our exceptional service. For further details or any questions regarding this trek, please feel free to email or contact us.
