How can I book a trip with you?

We have made it easy for you to book a trip with us. If you check your desired package, you will see an ‘Inquire Now’ button in the top right sidebar. Click on the button and a form will pop-up. Fill in the required fields and submit. We will receive your inquiry and we can communicate further for more details.

Do I need to pay you in advance to book a trip?

You do not need to pay the entire amount upfront. You can deposit 20% of the total cost in our bank account, which we will forward you once you are ready to book and deposit. The rest of the amount can be paid in Kathmandu on your arrival day.

How do I pay you the balance? Card, cash or TC?

It is up to you whether you want to pay by card or in cash. We accept payment by card as well but there will be a surcharge amount on top of the balance. If you pay in cash we accept all convertible currencies but most preferably USD. 

However, we do not accept Travellers’ Cheque and also do not recommend you to bring one. Nepal has does not accept TC anymore.

What if the trip is canceled?

GHHT reserves all the rights to cancel any trip without prior consent from any customer, however, the information of the trip cancellation with reason will be circulated to you. While that is the rare case, we will ask you to choose any other dates or trip, in case the situation arises. But if you do not want to do any trip, we will refund the amount you deposited in advance but Nepal Government doesn’t allow International money transfer so it might take some time for us to be able to figure out the way to send the money back to you.

GHHT is not responsible for the cost incurred to you in preparation for the trip.

We appreciate and thank you for your patience.

But in the case of trip cancellation from your side, you can always transfer the amount for the trip on a different date or for another trip as well.

In case you want to opt out of the trip, please read below for the refund details.

Cancellation -

60 days before – 100% of the deposited amount

45-60 days – 50% of the deposited amount

15-45 days – 30% of the deposited amount

Less than 15 days – No refund

What do I need to submit you with while booking the trip?

To confirm the trip booking, you need to send us the deposit slip or screenshot of the money transfer in our bank account. Once we receive the deposit payment, we will send you the trip confirmation email which will also include detailed trip information. We will also write to you if you need to submit any documents prior to your arrival in Kathmandu.

Can I book a fixed departure trip on a private trip?

As all our fixed departure trips are group trips, you will have people from all over the world. However, there is an option for you to book the same trip as a private tour with some additional cost. You can write to us if you like to modify certain things on the trip to make it suitable for you.

How do I know what’s included in the trip that I book with you?

All our trips have a section that mentions everything that the cost includes and excludes. You can take the same for your reference. And if you have any more questions, you can send us an email.

Can I buy just a trekking package, without hotels and transportation in the city, from you?

Yes, definitely you can buy only a trekking package. If you buy only a trekking package, our responsibility to you will be only in the mountains. You will manage all other things, from arrival to departure, on your own.
